Support
PhaseLedger is made by Phase Ledger LLC. It is job-costing, payroll and time-and-material billing software for electrical contractors.
How to reach us
Email support@phaseledger.com. We answer within one business day, and usually the same day. US business hours.
What to include
- Your company name, as it appears in PhaseLedger.
- What you were doing and what happened instead.
- If it is about a specific record, its number — an invoice number, a timesheet number, a job number. That is enough for us to find it.
- If it is urgent and affects payroll or billing, put "urgent" in the subject line.
QuickBooks connection help
PhaseLedger can post approved time-and-material invoices into QuickBooks Online, with the signed timesheets attached. It never sends invoices or takes payments — you press Send in QuickBooks exactly as you do today.
- To connect: Setup, then T&M Billing, then QuickBooks, then Connect QuickBooks. Only an administrator can do this. You will be asked to sign in at Intuit and choose which company to authorise.
- To reconnect: the same page shows a Reconnect button whenever QuickBooks has stopped accepting the connection — usually because PhaseLedger was removed in QuickBooks, or the connection went unused for a long time.
- To disconnect: the same page, Disconnect. We revoke the authorisation with Intuit and delete our copies of your tokens. Invoices already posted stay in QuickBooks, because they are your records.
Exactly what PhaseLedger reads from and writes to QuickBooks, what it keeps, and what happens when you disconnect, is set out in full here:
